This week we were in Sacramento at American Lithography. We were integrating GretagMacbeth ProfileMaker Pro color management software. Art Gomez and his team were ready to implement the benefits of an ICC workflow. We profiled their Kodak Approval, HP 5500, and their Xerox iGen Digital Press. We also calibrated and profiled their PrePress displays to D50 g1.8 150 cd/m2. Running a Creo Brisque workflow, we applied profiles to simulate the Approval. We also used custom conversions for Pantone to process by using GMB i1 Share (a freeware application) from a good accurate profile of the Approval we were able to obtain these values for PMS colors used most often.
